Twiunicorn is the past.
Now ther's Twilycorn, that's all.
Wings or not, Twilight is still Twilight. You don't judge someone (Somepony?) by how they look, but by how they are. Being a princess won't change Twi's personality. If you really liked Twilight, you would accept her and move on. Right?
Kwark, get over eet.
Trolls keep a-hissin'
It might get you somewhere in life
Alicorn twilight does not bother me because toy companies have made more drastic changes to shows to sell toys. For example Bandi, the owner of Digimon, turned six of the main characters into supporting characters in season two. In addition, seasons three-six had brand all new human and digimon characters. If Hasbro want to sell more toy by adding wings to twilight, I am all for a couple of reasons. One MLP: FiM is getting at least one more season; Two, MLP: FiM is getting another season with the original cast. Many shows were cancelled in the last eight months. I think the fans of those shows would like to be able to complain about something in the next season because there will be another season to complain about.
As long as Twilight remands the same despite her new status, I will not have a problem with Alicorn twilight. Friends do not have to be equal to remain friends. If the main six can treat each other with love and respect that did the past three seasons, the show will remain unchanged. For example, if you had a close friend that became famous would you throw away you friendship just because your friend’s status changed? If your friend same treated you the same way, there would no reason to let your friendship die. Moreover, Twilight and her friends are the elements of harmony, which means all six of the elements are needed, which means all of the main characters are equal. Therefore, even though twilight has new position, her element is not more important than the other five elements.
Lastly, even though Twilight’s friends bowed in the season finale, there is no reason to assume that twilight will aspect or want that kind of treatment from her friends. For example, in Kung Fu Panda, the five bowed to Po, but Po’s friends did bow to him any other time. Po sees the five as his equals even though he is more powerful than the five. I think this how alicorn twilight is going to be handled.
None of this escapes my perception, as I have told many. I just don't like the perceivable inconsistencies and direction. It's like driving into an intersection that says left turn only, but despite the sign, going straight is the only way to get to where you'd like to go. However, I'm not familiar with, nor have heard of the game unless you're referring to the mobile Android based game. No disagreement, even if I only enjoy 1/4 of the episodes from season 4, that's about 7 more than I would otherwise enjoy.
For good or for bad Hasbro needs to stick with their decision, as I made the whole message of Twilight earning her title just to have it taken away... yeah it wouldn't work.
Technically, they are pointless other than sharpening one’s critical thinking skills ^^, unless people are just being brash. Megan’s statement doesn’t correspond to anything we’ve seen thus far, unless Twilight happens to turn back. Otherwise, she’s just giving an obligatory tongue in cheek dodge to what’s been clearly understood from the beginning of the series. As for the book or movie, as I far as I understand, they’re not technically part of the “Friendship is Magic” series or is not labeled as such despite obviously being a part of G4 MLP. EqG begins at an undefined time with undefined circumstances. In the season 3 finale, we see her fly quickly and without wavering toward the screen and we know that the season 4 premier continues right after the season 3 finale. She being not very good at flying in EqG is a fairly clear indication of this separation. Even Hasbro understands that the movie, and particularly the book, will attract a slightly different audience. Hollywood couldn’t have just picked any Harry Potter book to bring to the silver screen and expect people to have followed the books.
I apologize if it seems I’m actually making a big deal of this. It’s certainly not a biggie in the scheme of things, just history as usual. I just wish to see how this could possibly be rationalized without screaming “cover-up.” Nevertheless, I also eagerly wait to see what happens.
